Mission:	Ethio-American Athletics Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with these objectives: •• To support young talented athletes in Ethiopia with athletic apparel, shoes, & medical care •• To encourage young Ethiopians to participate in athletic competitions and enable them to be healthy and productive citizens •• To foster national and international amateur athletics competitions among people of Ethiopian descent in the United States and internationally and to solicit funds and other resources to fulfill this charitable purpose •• To strengthen our social ties •• To encourage Ethiopians to participate in athletics competitions here in the USA
Awards:	CASH PRIZES: •• $200 for 1st place M/F; $100 for 2nd place M/F; $75 for 3rd place M/F overall Age-group awards: •• Top 3 in age groups 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over •• Gift certificates from sponsors •• Distinctive random awards

Directions:	From DC and Georgetown: Go west on M Street past Key Bridge. At Foxhall Road, M Street becomes Canal Road and a fieldstone wall begins Continue west for 2 miles to Reservoir Road on the right and driveway entrance to Fletcher's Cove on left, at the first opening in the fieldstone wall CAREFULLY turn left to enter the parking area Look for parking on the left, or stay right to enter the tunnel to the lower parking area closer to Potomac River Toilets are available to the right of the upper parking area From Maryland: From I-495 Capital Beltway, take exit 41 east towards Clara Barton Parkway At Chain Bridge, continue east on Canal Road for one mile After less than a mile, look for the sign for Fletcher's Cove on your right CAREFULLY turn right to enter the parking area
